On a balmy Sunday August night, I headed to New York to work with a super team to create some images for J. Van Such, a NYC textiles designer. Julie's scarves and headpieces are works of art and I am so happy with the way the makeup progressed during our shoot. It is great fun to be challenged and most of all, work with women of color, something I don't get to do often enough. Our model Bethany had the most lovely face. I have to thank my friend and hairstylist Gloria Espinoza, for recommending me to Jasmina Tomic and Julie of course. Girl power.
